What's on in September?

September has much on offer in faith and ministry formation. With spring upon us and the weather warming we can be encouraged to "step out" and nurture the new life of faith that, like the spring flowers, may be coming into bloom.

Of special mention is a workshop on 22 September by Mr Nick Wagner. This international speaker brings a wealth of experience and insight in the area of sharing and nurturing faith. This workshop will assist us connecting each of our ministries with the task of sharing faith and welcoming people into our communities. See below for more details.

Being Merciful: Practical Steps in Today's World

How do we 'BE' merciful in our parishes and neighbourhoods? Feeding the hungry, sheltering the traveller, visiting the sick, to forgive, provide comfort and prayer. These workshops, led by Deacon Peter Presdee (1/9) and Mr Sean Donovan (3/9 & 8/9) will focus upon the Corporal & Spiritual Works of Mercy and how we can lead lives of practical mercy with all whom we meet. Exploring Ministry - St Paul's Letter to the Corinthians

We are all called to discipleship and ministry, whether in home, work, church or communities. Evangelisation & Ministry: A Liturgical Ministry Enrichment Workshop

We are all engaged in sharing faith with others. This special ministry formation event for 2016 features our International Guest Speaker Nick Wagner whom we have secured for one night only on his Australian tour. He has over 25 years experience in leading and training people in liturgical ministries. This workshop will assist us in connecting each of our ministries with the task of sharing faith and welcoming people into our communities.
