The Archdiocese of Sydney is excited to be hosting the first Catholic Singles Conference to be held from 16 to 18 September 2016 in North Sydney.

The Catholic Singles Conference
is about giving single Catholics the opportunity to grow in faith and friendship, it will seek to encourage attendees to live their singleness well and to become happier and holier people. The Conference will discuss themes such as:

• Where is God in my singleness
• Dating and chastity
• The importance of friendship
• Pornography and Lust
• Practical Living as a Single
Prayer opportunities, Mass, sessions and social opportunities will make up the conference. Registration includes an evening cocktail reception on Friday night and on Saturday night, a formal three course dinner and 1950's dance – lessons included – to be held in the Crystal Ballroom of Luna Park overlooking Sydney Harbour. There will also be opportunities to take part in Pre and Post Conference activities.

The Catholic Singles Conference will feature two international keynote speakers flying out especially for this event. Fr Thomas Loya is the pastor of Annunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Parish in Homer Glen, Illinois and is a popular conference speaker on a range of faith topics. Mary Beth Bonacci is the author of the books, "We're on a Mission from God" and "Real Love", and has addressed thousands of young adults on issues of sexuality and the Theology of the Body. Both have presented on previous occasions at previous Catholic Singles Conferences that have been held in the USA.

We warmly invite all single Catholics to join us as we host what is bound to be a very exciting weekend. Please extend this invitation to any single men and women you know.

Impact Convention Early Bird Registration Ends 31st August
I recently visited a Church ministry that began with a with a young man who was faithful to his calling, gathered a small leadership team and radically lived this out. This year, that same young man, a little older and a few more grey hairs, was surrounded by a room of 10,000+ people and reaching 100,000 with technology. It is a true blessing to see what God has done and continues to do in the lives of so many people today.

We are at a similar juncture in time with our very first Impact Convention in 6 weeks and the second Heart Women's Conference in 8 weeks. Who knows what God will do but His plans always have what is best for each of us at the centre.

What we do know is that for all the high-school sons, daughters, students, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends that you know who register and attend Impact Convention will begin a journey of Impact. An Invitation. An Encounter. A Transformation.

Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure an engaging, relevant and practical life changing experience. They will be able to point to this period in their life as a significant experience on their journey. Don't miss out and register your loved one today!
Early Bird Registration of $80 finishes August 31st
