Get back to basics with Catholicism 101, a monthly catechesis evening for young adults (aged 18-35). Each month is presented by a different speaker and held in the beautiful Chapter Hall across from St Mary's Cathedral, following City Silence.
Join us and 3 Panelists as they share their views on Same Sex Marriage and what the Church says on the issue. Never before has Australia become so obsessed with an issue as it has with SSM, but why does every person have an opinion on the topic and as a Catholic what should you know and how can you respond.
The Youth Leaders Formation Course is an opportunity for participants to grow closer to Christ whilst experiencing further formation in the Catholic Faith. The YLFC offers a strong foundation to help young adults become leaders after the heart of Jesus; leaders who will contribute to the life of the Church in Australia.
Course members will hear presentations from over 30 high quality and dynamic Catholic speakers from around the country. They will also participate in daily Mass, Adoration and mission work, share personal experiences, be involved in sport, cultural and talent nights.
Join Catholic Youth Services as we travel as an Archdiocese to Adelaide - the City of Churches - to attend the Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF), 3–5 December 2015.
ACYF is a national gathering of Catholic young people established by the Australian Catholic Bishops. It is an opportunity for young people to deepen their relationship with Christ, be empowered to be disciples in the world today and both encounter and celebrate the vitality of the Church in Australia. With an estimated number of 4000 young people at this years' Festival, it is an event not to be missed!
Catholic Youth Services has secured rooms at Aquinas College which is less than 10 minutes away from the Adelaide Convention Centre, the location of the Festival.
