Parishes Working Together

May 2014

Fr Paul Turner Welcome to the May edition of "Liturgy Notes", the Diocese of Wollongong liturgy and music e-Bulletin.

Fr Paul Turner Visiting Wollongong!

Fr Paul Turner will be visiting the Diocese of Wollongong on Thursday 14 August 2014.

Paul Turner is pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Kansas City, Missouri.  A priest of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, he holds a doctorate in sacred theology from Sant' Anselmo in Rome. He featured on the DVD resource
Becoming One Body, One Spirit in Christ, which many of you would remember as the major resource for the introduction of the new missal in 2011.

Fr Paul will feature in a Gathering for Clergy at the Xavier Centre from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm.

In the evening, the Diocese will host a Public Lecture on the topic Liturgy, Ministry and Mission.  Go to liturgy.dow.org.au for more details.

NEW! Diocesan Liturgy Forms Now Online

Online liturgy preparation check-lists were introduced in January with the "Lift Up Your Hearts" Conference Masses all using the online system. The system has worked well and received a minor update in May.

Also in May, we launched the Confirmation Liturgy Outline and Information Form. All Confirmations this year are being supported by the new online forms. We intend providing an online form for Blessings and Openings in June. Go to  liturgy.dow.org.au for more details.

Music Repertoire Recommendations

Music recommendations have been added for June 2014.

All the best
